Winterisation of your Marine Engine

A “Winterise” is a mariner’s term meaning to protect your vessel for winter.

It’s important when leaving your vessel for longer than a month, without use, to protect it from the effects of natural condensation and also frost.

BBMS (Swanwick) Ltd will winterise your engine by treating your fuel, flushing with antifreeze, fogging down with storage oil, removing the belts, painting the belt pulleys, isolating batteries and covering inlets/outlets – it takes us about an hour plus fluids but you’ll have peace of mind.
